Alright, this topic has piqued my interest...

NES - Kirby's Adventure
GameBoy - Gargoyle's Quest
Super NES - Mega Man X
Sega Genesis - Sonic the Hedgehog 2
GameBoy Color - Pokemon Gold/Silver
PS1 - Crash Bandicoot 2
N64 - StarFox 64
GameBoy Advance - Advance Wars
PS2 - God of War 2
GameCube - Metroid Prime ... er, 2 (Having completed both games games this past month, I have to concede that Metroid Prime 2 is SLIGHTLY better than the original)
Wii - Super Mario Galaxy
Nintendo DS - Advance Wars Dual Strike
Sony PSP - Mega Man Powered Up
PS3 - God of War 3
Nintendo 3DS - Link Between Worlds

Man this is a pretty solid list. I was expecting a DS title as well. Tho I can name a ton of exclusives to this day that hadn't been ported to any other system.

Monster Tale comes to mind.

Great titles indeed. Forgot to add 3DS to mine, so I agree with Roberto;)

Sonic 2, Kirby's Adventure, Mega Man X are all games found everywhere from ports, compilation releases, and virtual systems...

How are we defining "exclusive"?

Exclusive at the time, otherwise there’d be hardly any retro titles to choose from. ;)

I am a pretty hardcore DS enthusiast; if I thought too hard on the “best” DS game, I would have certainly gone all deer-in-the-headlights and not been able to make up my mind... so I just went with the first game that popped into my head.

Holy crap that's a nice list. Almost all of those are some of my favorites. Soletorobo is a great also.

Have you tried monster tale before?

Solotarobo felt somewhat like a Mega Man Legends game. Loved it. I know it's a sequel to Tail Concerto.

I have. I heard "from the developers of Henry Hatswo-" and immediately rushed out to buy it. Very cute game, although it was a little... slight, compared to other Metroidvania games. I was really hoping for Henry Hatsworth as an unlockable character for a "New Game Plus" mode, which they kind of hinted at but didn't follow through with. I wonder where those guys went? I heard way back in the DS days that they were working on another game...

I bought Solutarobo from Toys R Us back in the day (with the oversized box and the OST, and whatever else it came with). Just seemed like the right thing to do. And yeah, I vaguely remember it being compared to Mega Man Legends.
