I caved and bought this today. I went ahead and ordered the physical version of the game from Limited Run. Still fucking pissed the fuck off that I bought digital because they said it was never going to get a physical release.
Fuckers.

You won't regret it, it's lovely. There is a physical version coming and I've already put a pre-order in, you have to import from the UK.

Aside from packaging what's the difference between this re-release and the original 4 disc set from forever ago?

I already owned KOA on PS3 and loved it. Replaying it now on PS4 and forgot exactly how much fun it is but also overwhelming. Still one of my fave WRPGs. CS is from Etsy. Sorry but count it against me if you wish but to hell with the overblown prices of eBay. Nabbing a couple of repros of out of control priced games. This is the kind of thing that makes me glad Ikaruga is getting physical on modern platforms. Same with some older PS2/DC/PS1/Arcade ports. Makes it not having to resort to this. https://i.imgur.com/zvBEEm7.jpg
Got some more Japanese games. For the PS1 I got Samurai Deeper Kyo, Puzzle Arena Toshinden, and Two-Ten Kaku. I also picked up the stand alone copies of the Metal Slug games for PS2.

Outta reps.
Very nice pickups, and unlike the standalone version of Samurai Spirits 6, you don't have to unlock a ton of characters or other things. It does have some very nice artwork though, and although I do have the Anthology it is on, I am tempted to eventually snag a copy of the standalone Sam Sho 6. Puzzle Arena Toshinden also kind of intrigues me as I like puzzle games.
I feel like it's a good game held back by DC's lack of a second analog stick. If DC survived SEGA would have had to do a PS1/Xbox and release a new controller with 2 more shoulder buttons and an extra analog stick.
