Why the Japanese version?
Well the game is highly expensive in general. Japanese is cheaper but not by a lot. Strider 2 is playable in any language and this version because the case was damaged. I got it for $30. Normally like $80+ for the Japanese version and $130+ for the US. So for $30 I jumped on it even if the seller was sketchy.
I have the North American version. I'd thought that I had a really rare misprint with my copy, when I'd tried playing Strider 1 and the disc booted Strider 2. It turned out that the whole print run was botched.
Forgot about that. Is there any other instance like that? I could swear there is but coming up with nothing. I want to say PS1 again but can't recall what it was.
I received the DS and 3DS games I got from BonusKun. He threw in a free soft tipped stylus. :)

ooh nice! DQVII is a great remake and FE awakening is pretty enjoyable. Never played GS so be curious to here your thoughts.
I’ve played the GBA Golden Sun games and liked them a lot. It’ll be awhile til I get to the 3DS game. I’m playing Fire Emblem currently.

Well at least those CD's aren't mislabeled like the US versions are at least. Plus Strider 2 has speech between levels, unlike the western version. I have the US one, paid $35 for it off ebay years ago, keywords, years ago. Those years ago the price was still around the $30-50 price range, I have not looked to see what they go for these days.Quote:

Does the 32x work while going through the Power Base Converter or are you just making the tower look juwawesome? I ask because I play my SMS via the PBC as well, and always have to go through the hassle of disconnecting the 32x. I just assumed they weren't compatible with each other.Quote:
