They will be adding a full voice acting. Gameplay tweaks. Takahisa Taura of PlatinumGames and Toylogic working on it. They are just calling it an updated version rather than a remaster or remake. (?) Rerecording the OST with new tracks. It should be out sometime this year. If you have not played Nier yet. Give Automata ago. Aside from some references, the first Nier is not needed to play. Just some fan stuff would make more sense. Nier 1 was an amazing concept wrapped in an average playing game. Sounds like the updates will make it better. They really are something special and unique you will not find anywhere else. Iam a little let down this is not Papa Nier as Papa is better than Brother IMO but whatever.
