I played the game twice at an arcade and never touched it again.
I saw this at my local arcade once. I played it. Never played again but it was something you just could not look away from. Me being a massive Trek nerd and Holodecks. As a kid it felt like wow we are almost there! Naive yes, but that's the beauty of childlike wonder.
Not a great game, but the display was amazing. It was also the 1st Arcade game I saw, that was costing over £1 per go, when even for the big delux cabs it was just 50p
i remember this being prominently displayed at my mall's arcade at the entrance. it wasn't that much fun, the controls seemed to lag but damned if it wasn't a great looking game.
It sat front and center in the Goldmine Arcade at Prestonwood Mall in Dallas. They tore that mall down about 15 years ago. :(
You're not alone. The 3 malls I had growing up and went to them all the time and loved the one with the arcade downtown were all torn down years ago. Every movie theatre we had with arcades all gone now as well. I miss the mall :(Quote:

Time Traveler looks hilarious. I remember pumping a few quarters into Holosseum at Aladdin's Castle bitd. The game was ass but I still enjoy holograms.
