I said voices (character voices basically) over 5 times now. It's not a music comparison but a voice comparison. (Yeah I'm sure some Genesis music uses PCM voices over instrumentals but I'm not talking about that).

Virtua Racing 32X is, according to emulators, running all of its in game sound off of the Genesis. That is very impressive, probably the most impressive thing I have seen from the Genesis sound system.

I agree, I play it all the time, in fact both those 32 x games VF and VR are thee best examples of Genesis sound. So we got 2 great sounding ones and 13 okay to decent sounding ones. Honestly, that's not a dent in it's library so I'm going to have to agree with him overall so far.

I think it is fair to say that Genesis voice sample stink in most games. What exactly are you agreeing with, Genesis sound stinks?

That game was a Sega Channel exclusive, and that was the only way it made it to America.

No, as I said many times and what we have been discussing, that the voices from the Genesis games overall stink compared to SNES ones. We got 20 games that are great to okay with clear voices so far, not a lot.

The music is subjective. I wasn't talking about that though.

Pound for pound considering all this though (voices, music, sound quality), I'll give the SNES the win on overall sound.

In my conversation with StarMyst (Where is that guy anyways? Probably on hiatus to the Bahamas! :p), I remarked how great the voice samples appeared to be in the game "Strider Returns" (Not to be confused with "Strider"): The voice samples are quite numerous and extremely clear.

Thanks I will add it to list, we got like 20 now. Is that Strider II that came out in UK nobody wants to remember ? Also are these "this guy at this company managed to get more than 64 colors on screen" rumors true ? Maybe Pier Solar did or Project Y will ? Heard it for like 5 games so far. And is Batman and Robin on Sega CD same exact one as Genesis one just with extra drive levels ?

Aren't there voices in Light Crusader also? That's another Treasure game too. It seemed like AD&D: Warriors of the Eternal Sun had some voices too. I'm not sure about that one though.
