Dear Barone!

There has been some changes at WaterMelon, I've been waiting to clear all the legal questions before writing up this announcement for you. Tulio Adriano has left WaterMelon some weeks ago, I'm now sole owner of the company. Here are some quick answers to quickly assert the questions about Pier Solar and our other games currently in development:

Are any of the projects going to be cancelled?
No.

Are any of the projects going to suffer extra delays?
No.

Am I going to receive my games?
Yes, of course, this is what we do.

When will I receive my Pier Solar pre-orders?
All games and goodies are completed and ready for shipping, I've personally supervised their manufacturing.
However, due to the late company changes, please bear the extra weeks as we are re-organizing the distribution processes. I hope everyone will receive their goods before end of September 2015.

Hoh, but if Fonzie is in charge of news now, does that mean we wont have any news anymore, at all :) ?
To clarify, the spirit of WM is to deliver the best game possible. WM is a (very, very) small company.
It's a thin line to ensure a un-altered 1990's gaming vibe. To put things into perspective, nowadays, before games are even released, there are: unboxing videos, multiple trailers and screenshots, reviews and previews, even playthrough videos time to time. What's the next step? Let you play the game before it is actually done? Hoh wait!

I'm working, along with our best people, to improve the news and weekly reports but our priority is, and will remain, the games. I'll also resume the work on the tea time videos, which has been long overdue (especially for ProjectN, sorry again to all the investors).

I would like to thank everyone of you for their continued patience and support. Lets not forget the numerous people having worked close or far on any WM games, guide, DVD, OST, goodies, etc. Because without them, there would be no WM. if you have any doubts, please check for the game credits, you will understand it's a lot more than a "a (very, very) small company".

I got the same thing... I hope it all pans out for WM, and I wish Fonzie good luck. WM has their work.cut out for them.

I also just got this today. It's the most promising thibg for a bit, I stopped checking the site a while back and just keep track of this thread for news.

I hope Fonz can turn this around and he can be more transparent with things. His old school style of games PR combined with WM's method of funding don't really mix well.

It's unfortunate but I feel Fonz's focus needs to be on wrapping up PS HD and not on news for Project's N and Y. I'm an investor in Y and understand the desire for news but I know that PS HD was a massive thing to take on and needs to be a closed chapter.

Given that PS arrives.. I'll give it another couple weeks, I am fine with the wait as I have yet to hear of any one losing money doing business with WM, it's just a waiting game..

So I have invested $69 usd + shipping.

What about you? What have you invested? Are you happy with your investments?

My point is still valid, people can make excuses for them all they want the work they are doing is amazing, communication and delivery dates not so.

Update: 4 weeks later no game, no communication, nothing. :D I filed a charge back with the credit card company, you can keep your games wm, 3 months you had my money and you couldn't even email me back with a straight answer as to why I haven't received my game that you said was available in stock and ready to ship

Not sure how long ago you did this but I thought these had been shipped out now?

I can't even be bothered to speak on it, who ever deals with this company must have the patience of a saint, 3 months I waited, they took my money for a product they advertised as in stock and available to ship, then didn't even bother to respond to my emails regarding where is my game? It's been 3 months, that is long enough, I don't even want it anymore. I edited my initial post, This is not an attack on the company just my experience with them. But seriously.. What type of company treats the customers like this.

WM does what they want. This has been a running theme. You'll get your game when they are good and ready but they'll take your money now...

Not even joking. This is the same stuff I hear everywhere, WM just doesn't have the manpower to handle the demand. Communication is really poor, and distribution/shipping are constant problems.

It's a shame really, because their games are good.

I don't really care when I get the game , I just want to pre-order my copy of project y so I don't miss out.

I don't know; for what it's worth, the one and only time I've dealt with WM was pleasant. I purchased the Pier Solar reprint about a month ago, and the game arrived about a week later.

I guess I came in to say that although a number of people feel their methods of communication and shipping times may leave something to be desired, not every experience with the company is a bad one.
