No new ordering will take place till Fonzie figures out who will handle the payment end of the storefront since Paypal screwed them.
I do not know if they will continue using Paypal but i doubt it, maybe shopify or something else.

Finally got caught up on this thread. Here is my 2 cents as a guy who has run several businesses with PayPal as a payment option...
IMO, PayPal is one of, if not the worst method of payment you can use. When I ran an eBay store using PayPal as my sole method of receiving payment, I had constant and continual problems. PayPal loves freezing funds and freezing your account. They blame it on fraud prevention but let me tell you something... My account has been hacked on multiple occasions. On one of them, the hacker got access to my bank account through PayPal and drained my entire bank account faster than I could blink.
So yeah, PayPal sucks and while good for casual transactions and perhaps receiving a payment or two from someone, you should never, ever use it as a sole way to receive payment with a business. It's pretty obvious what happened. Watermelon got a large influx of orders and money come in from Paprium, PayPal in their infinite wisdom got suspicious and locked their account. This is what they do, and good luck getting a hold of anyone to talk to. Getting an issue like that resolved takes weeks or months generally. So yeah, I sympathize with Fonzie a bit because I've been through it with them. PayPal is an awful dinosaur of a payment company. There are far better and more friendly companies to use now, I suggest Watermelon hook up with a new one ASAP.
Fuck PayPal.
This looks awesome. Cant wait to play it!
I honestly can't be surprised any more about this when it comes to WaterMelon and delays. I remember waiting 6 months for a *reprint* of Pier Solar on Genesis... only to get an email apologizing profusely in the usual broken English about something that happened at the cartridge printer so we'd have to wait another 6-months. I think it was about a year before I finally got it.
But as far as homebrew developers for old consoles go, WaterMelon is near the top when it comes to quality products. The time they put in shows, when you consider the tiny details they pay attention to. It's easy to forget these are risky ventures to invest in, especially after what a letdown Unholy Night was. But aside from the long, long wait for fulfillment, (which still sucks, don't get me wrong) they do a fine job, and I can respect that.
wholly acknowledging paypal sucks, but: this sounds more obtuse than buying gemsQuote:
or just use bitcoin/litecoin
So, in real terms, and with no hyperbole, what does all this actually mean for those of us who have already paid through PayPal for this? Aside from the obvious extra delays, what is likely to occur with this situation?
I'm looking for new projects on kickstarter and now also they not accept paypal anymore.
Kickstarter never used paypal and i have backed many projects since their first year.
