Cool story, Bro!

Well I for one agree with highlandcattle.
Okay. But I 100% understand why they're complainingQuote:
I don't know why you people keep complaining it was the same deal with Pier Solar and we got that game in the end and it was awesome.
Don't agree at all. If you sell something with a set release date and don't deliver then you get what you deserve.Quote:
These assets were probably frozen because some sad people complained with paypal. And because of these idiots everything has come to a grinding halt.
You've never worked with him...how would you know? But yes he does make awesome stuff.Quote:
Fonzie might not be the easiest to work with but he does make awesome stuff.
Nice generalisation there!Quote:
He sould have a policy of not selling to americans you all seem so spoiled and keep on complaining in the end you ruin it for everybody.
So what examples have you got then?Quote:
The 20 day rule is ridiculous. I often pay with paypal for preorders months in advance.
It wasn't exactly the same. The Magical Game Factory worked much better back then. Maybe the second highest genre voted by investors would have come out sooner than Pier Solar, as a shmup-war sim would have been more straightforward.
Pier Solar's MGF investors got their regular behind the scenes updates and there wasn't a fake imminent release campaign to rake in preorder money.
It's true that Fonzie also cut off contact with the rest of the dev team for weeks - months at a time. But the joystick tie-in was revealed much sooner.
To be fair, there are plenty of Americans who've been following this that haven't complained, and quite a few people from other countries that have. Not that there's anything wrong with that, their complaints are valid. This is a forum for discussion, if no information is given about the product for long periods of time people are going to gripe.
So the assets were frozen because people complained to paypal? Or because they didn't have the product ready when they said it would be?
Fonzie would never have been able to make this game without you! I think we all know that!
And considering the fact that Fonzie doesn't communicate with people for months at a time, and keeps everyone in the dark, combined with delays for what have now been YEARS, I think people have the right to complain. Especially since he has collected people's money now (including mine, to the tune of nearly $200). I mean, yeah, I get it, PayPal sucks and I've had issues with them myself in the past. But even so, updates would be nice!
So... question for you and/or Tulio.
How do things work with Fonzie on a professional level? Does he just request assets from you as needed and then disappear? Are you forced to sign NDA's of some sort that won't let you reveal anything, no matter what?
I'm not asking for you guys to slander him. I'm just curious about what the day-to-day operations are like between the WM team when creating something.

Lot's of games do this and nobody complains about that. It was the same with Pier Solar and I'm goddamn tired about that.
Tanglewood. i paid in 2016 for a release winter 2017. Now it is spring 2018. Not that I mind but are his funds frozen?
Axiom Verge WiiU. I paid in august for a september release. Now it is pushed back to 27/11/17. Are amazon 's funds frozen? I guess not....
The list goes on but I don't care....
