Right, I saw that. I assume the 2 other characters are supposed to be secret / unlockable. But another thing that bothers me is that I've only seen him play a single character (Tug), which seems fishy to me (don't the others work?).
Also, on a related note, I'm not a fan of the character design, no offense to the people involved (Luis, I guess? But I'm not sure how much freedom he had). Just look at the box artwork, the 2 guys are like 90% similar (pretty much the same jaw, chin, nose, hairline...). More diversity wouldn't have hurt, in my opinion.

Well, at least it's confirmed those old videos (tea time, trailer) are the actual game running on an actual hardware, because this new demo looks exactly like that (sans enemies). So I think it's at least believable that this was a beta of an existing full game.

When was it confirmed? Has there been an official statement to that effect because I'm finding it hard to believe that the tea time video showed anything more than a PC demo.

I can't fault it for clever use of palettes and planes. The underground trains and lighting effects are really neat. I just wish he'd spent more time preparing what he was going to show!

Understandable! I'm still waiting to see if he has it working via the dsp aided sound driver

Not to be on his defense here , but if he was, why would we and he spend so much time making this game and everything else that comes with it ? Be logical for a minute. Sure WM has is lacking in communication , sharing what has been done, managing time and expenses. All these trully unprofessional, but a scam? Paprium isnt !

Correct, but a cart-side CPU/DSP could theoretically generate a table in some cart-side RAM and then let the 68K initiate the DMA to VRAM. Not sure I'm convinced that's' what's happening here, but it's theoretically possible at least.
