On Fonzie's side, I guess the party only resulted in a wave of refund requests and a drop of motivation. Even the usual "The game is delayed because of company X or reason Y" communication would have probably been less disastrous. But at least we got to see more of the game.
It looks like Camille is active enough on the WM page and is the one who made that post about emails going out at the end of the month. Looks like that didn't happen though. We've made a 360 and are back to where we were before the party started it looks like.
The reality is that either we ask for refunds, or just wait. There is really no other recourse. I've mentioned multiple times: Make a bigger deal about it. Get it on Reddit, get it in front of the gaming media. Make Fonzie have to say or do something. People should see the kind of stuff retro-gaming hobbyists have to put up with, but more importantly, see that there is a sizable community that WILL invest in a project. I've always said, if WM falls apart, Paprium never releases, and this ordeal results in the retro-gaming community devs spawning 2 more companies like Vetea, or Bitmap Bureau, we'll be better off. If anything, I just want to be done with this, and I really hope no other people get suckered into this kind of crowd funding deal again. It's bad for devs that are actually doing things right.
If I feel bad for anyone, it's the people who invested, and continue putting their faith in WM/Fonzie, and the artists and developers that put so much time into the project.

I've been thinking for a little while that the best action at this stage would be to release a PC version via Steam and then maybe, just maybe, go back at a later date and try to get the game running on actual 16-bit hardware. I already doubt he has the funds to deliver. And I mean just the manufacturing and shipping, not even any costs of remaining alive to finish the game. At this point the only option is probably to sell something else to gather back more funds (possibly under a different brand so nobody notices).
For the record, I would believe that the game is more finished than it looked like — so far everything hints at the DSP being unusable in its current state (although I also believe like everybody else that there was probably not much point in even bothering with the DSP in the first place, this was clearly just Fonzie being stubborn as usual). It's probably a miracle that the game even booted at all.
At the party he said he was able to recover only 40% of paypal funds.
It seems that he is looking for (or found) an investor to recover what he has already produced and that the factories do not want to hand him over without the rest of the payment.
These are the words of Fonzie so I'm suspicious a little but given what he showed at the party (jackets, manuals, ...) I also start to think that the version of the game shown is not not the latest version of the game
Is it due to a problem or wanted? It is in any case a "bad move".
Another source on the MGF forum says he spent a few hours with Fonzie before the party and he saw him try for 3 hours to run a version of the game without success.
In my opinion the release of a PC version is the last thing Fonzie wants.
And it would be seen as a blow in the back by many investors who have financed a megadrive exclusivity.
