What’s funny though is it always would have been more style than substance even after it came out. The appeal of the game was essentially that it was at heart like any other good beat ‘em up, but what distinguished it was it’s neo punknoir aesthetic. But rather than be satisfied with that being enough of a draw, Fonzie had to figure out every way he could bring something new to the table and cram it into this one game rather than distribute novel ideas across a number of games he would eventually develop.
