That's what's being done for Micro Mages (4.000 copies)!
That's what Matt did with Tanglewood, each unit made with his own hands. Right know it doesn't exists a factory where you push a button and minutes later you have thousands of flawless copies of your game.
Yes, I know. But Paprium was supposed to be different, was it 50 factories?
Just had a catch up. That's something at least, but I'll believe it when I see it.
I musf confess that I sent another email asking to cancel my refund. I figured it was worth a punt. Again.
Me too...

I am the "troll" behind the megawire.xyz page. Fonzie can get the domain if he wants. but he has to communicate, do you understand the meaning behind it? ;)
Domain squatting for the greater good...
So many suckers here. I mean how many kickstarters have been created to this day where the goal amount was raised yet the promises were not kept. All these new games on retro systems are cash grabs. People in the industry capitalizing on current trends.
This guy said it best.
What do people expect to get from Fonzie? WM is likely broke and unless he made some mistakes in managing the money the corporate structure will shield him from personal liability. Good luck to everyone involved but I will be surprised if you actually collect. Not trying to discourage anyone though if you get a judgment against him that will finish Fonzie's career and serve as a warning to other developers.
Stop buying homebrews and reproductions and new games made for retro systems.
^^ Uh, no? Stop telling people what to do with their money. Paprium is a big exception in the MD scene. Most projects are made by honest people, doing it for the fans and not the money. Cashgrabs are seldom like Paprium even, most often very small games made in lower quantities.
Most "homebrew" productions aren't funded by "investments" or pre-sales.
Depends if you count kickstarter as presales or not. A significant amount of homebrew gets a kickstarter campaign…
But yeah, I recall that Paprium has actually caused enough damage to convince some people to run away from homebrew (as if the premise of a new game of an old system that has been long end-of-life'd wasn't hard as it is). And there has been questions about overuse of kickstarter, especially when it's for a finished game (because you could be taking preorders to fund the cartridges instead of crowdfunding).
