I dropped by my local Target today and the PS4/PS5 section was looking pretty barren. They had 2 copies of The Last of Us One ($50), a few F1 2022, a couple of AC Valhalla ($20) and Far Cry 5. My local Walmart had a better selection.
I think that I’d heard on the CU podcast that digital sales for console were somewhere around 60% for consoles, and physical had dropped down to 40%, since the Corona lockdowns
The Spiderman games seem fun and even the game with the cat(s) looks odd yet strangely appealing. Using it as a dedicated 4k player and console in a bedroom w/o an actual console might end up as its purpose. The last Sony game I played was the Indiana Jones type game on Vita. The name mistakes me but a movie was recently made with Sully and what ever the protagonist was named.Quote:

Uncharted and it's one of my favorite series. The update of Uncharted 4 is definitely going to be played by me. I already have the PS4 version, so I think that I might be able to upgrade it to the PS5 version for $10.
I picked up Spiderman on PC about a month ago. It's okay, but Batman: Arkham Asylum did it better.

I got a PS5 and ALL the games... Well, maybe not every single one, but I went a little bit ham on the holiday sales. Who knows, probably not done yet.

Target had some crazy prices on their video games. The PS4 and PS5 games shelves were nearly cleared out. I was lucky to get one of the last two copies of Forbidden West for $40.

I'm a big fan of the Gothic series and I like Risen as well... but I seem to like each new franchise from Piranha Bytes a little less than the one before.
KAO is back baby, putting Mario and Sonic to shame as always. I'm looking forward to these Terminator games, particularly the PS5 one. I feel like we're starved for FPS games these days that aren't military themed, and are actually single-player focused. Apparently Urban Reign is the greatest beat-em-up in 3 dimensions. Jurassic is an interesting Turok clone. Mighty Bomb Jack is some classic arcade fun. While I don't think this new Star Ocean looks near as to my tastes as the previous one (which was a departure that the fan base all hated), I'm willing to give this one a shot.
