2600 games

ok tonight im gonna put some 2600 games onto my xbox but havent got a clue what games to play,, i know some stuff actually like pitfall? robotron and digdug but any other good games would be appreciated thanks

well i just looked at some screenshots for phoenix and it looks like a space invaders kind of shooter but with bigger enemies and big bosses could you give me a bit more info if possible? thanks

Phoenix is the best game I've played on VCS, its kind of like Space Invaders but with more interesting enemy attack patterns, and the animation is great. A lot of the Atari classics like Asteroids, Space Invaders, Pacman etc I'd rather play on the superior Atari machines like the 800 computer, as the 2600 versions are so much more primative.

Battlezone, Dark Chambers, Defender II, Dig Dug, Frankenstein's Monster, Frogger, Galaxian, H.E.R.O, Jungle Hunt, Kung Fu Master, Millipede, Ms. Pac-Man, Pitfall!, Solaris, Space Invaders. There some of my favs.

My favorites are Missile Command, River Raid, Seaquest, Demon Attack, Frankenstein, Moon Patrol, Megamania, among others.

Atlantis (sort of like Missile Command, you use 3 guns on the bottom to defend a city against spaceships flying overhead)

Demon Attack (similar to Space Invaders, but vastly more fun, IMO)

Jawbreaker (new take on the whole eat pellets in a maze concept)

Warlords is great multiplayer but I can't really see how it would work well w/o the paddle controllers.

I used to play Vanguard a lot.
