so has anyone else besides me played this fantastic sms game.. and if they have have any of you completed it.. just wanted to know because this is my most favourite 8bit game ever!"!

I played it many years ago. It was quite good, but very similar to Legend of Zelda. Came to a dragon I think, who killed me some times. Must buy and play it again some day.

I love that game. So many people are against Zelda clones but I think we actually need more. Neutopia on Tg16 is along the same lines.

Heh. Golden Axe Warrior is pretty damn amazing. Better than Zelda if you ask me.

yeah zebbe that dragon is in the 2nd dungeon where you need to use the magic to get at him and go up close with the sword if ur lucky ;)

I used to have it. Why I got rid of it, I'll never know.

I've seen this one around and have always wanted to play it.

you should play it as well many people bash it because they think its a bad zelda clone,, but for one this is actually better than zelda, and its actually quite a challenge finding the last labryinth;)

For some reason any game that even resembles Zelda is always called a Zelda clone. No one ever calls a vertical shooter a Galaga clone or a platformer a Mario clone.

i know,, and with GAW they were planning a sequel which would of been great but they turned it down and realeased ax battler on GAME GEAR which was,,, ermm,, crap

Actually, come to think of it I must have it on my Dreamcast MS emu disc. Win!

one of the greatest more fun than phantasy star and miracle warriors
good graphics and fun to play only the ending sucks too short don t want to spoil it but its not great

yeah the ending is a bit of a letdown you go all that way for that ending :S

This is way off topic, but ive really wanted to get some emu's going on my dreamcast, as I don't really have an x-box anymore because it was my brothers (nor do I really want one), and my home computer is dead, I type on my work computer. But what kind of roms do you have going on it. Ive heard various things about mame and snes sucking on the dreamcast emulator. Im just wondering if its really worth bothering with and if it will mess up the laser lens like ripped games can do. Ive lost two dreamcasts that way, now I only play real software on it, but I want sms and nes and mame and neo geo games bad.

I cheated and got a pre-made disc instead of making my own; I know nothing about how to do it myself. I would recommend NES and MS emus on DC; the Genesis and SNES ones are slooooow. MAME sucks as well. AFAIK the laser problem is real, but you have to play a LOT of burned games for it to be a problem.
