Games that everyone seems to hate but you love

"Inspired" by the opposite post of this title...

For me, gamers around me want to gorge my guts out when I tell them I really enjoyed any of the Karaoke Revolution series (okay, so it's not a "game" per se, but it's on a console).

Oh, can't forget the Raiden series as well, any of all of them.

Now time for the rest of you to empty your guts!;)

Okay, it may be exaggerating a bit, but I love Final Fantasy X so deeply, but the game gets much hate considering it´s part of such a big franchise and sold millions.

My Hero on Master System, I'll admit its pretty rubbish, but I can't resist its colourful charms. And who doesn't like kicking glass bottles back into a punks face.

I love Adventures of Batman and Robin without reservations, which makes me one of five in the world.

I adore the PC game Blood. Nobody seems to quite share my passion for this awesome game, however, I cannot help it if everybody else is wrong.

Chuck Rock 2 and Sol Feace. There it is. I said. Are you happy?! (runs away crying)

always come to mind first when asked this question.

Final Fantasy VIII - it has many major flaws, such as the failure of recreating a cyber society, the weird love-story and those long super-attacks but it is still a very deep and special game.
Light Crusader - wonderful action-RPG which has only one flaw - it is too short.

Mortal Kombat (series) - I can't really explain it, but for some reason I have always enjoyed playing this game instead of "deeper" games from the era such as Street Fighter II. I guess I always found the story/characters really compelling. MK3 was crap though. No Scorpion = none of my quarters.

I found the amount of hate people have towards Mortal kombat a bit strange myself. I do think its a somewhat a case of people following the herd of internet opinion. I think they are great games myself, such a distinctly different game to Street Fighter and all its clones.

World of Warcraft

I totally dig Heavy Nova, and I never found anyone who felt the same way as I do about this game.
Twin Cobra is another one that falls into this category.

Settlers V
Had terrible sales figures, and NOBODY plays it online, but it's genuinely one of the best Real Time Strategy games I have ever played.

Sonic Riders. I loved it, I honestly think it was the best Sonic game since ... I can't remember the last good Sonic game.

Sure, the story, the new characters, and the overall gameplay were all pretty meh, but the funky soundtrack, the HARD AS HELL gameplay, the level design, and Sega references up the wazoo made me love it. I am definitely looking forward to Zero Gravity.
