Mines a 94 Caprice Classic, with an LT1 swap. Old engine had only 4.3 liter V8, new one is 5.7 liter V8..
Muffler is only minimally modified, as to not be so loud.. I don't like showing off to the neighbors. ;)
I didn't rev up very high on purpose, because my camera wouldn't have captured much of the sound anyway.

My buddy Adny, in my car, parked adjacent to the flow of traffic in the middle of the interstate in Nebraska (or was it Kansas? I don't remember, this was during our road trip last summer. Florida to Texas, arizona, into cali, up to Seattle WA, through Montana, down and over to the mississippi river in Iowa, road a raft down the river for a while, off to chicago, back down to florida)... There wasn't a SOUL in sight. We were literally able to just lay on the hood of the car for a good half hour just chatting before we even so a car coming our direction.

As you can tell, I am content with a car that goes vroom. Just about all I need. I think after this car I'll get a subaru because I plan on moving back up north to New England and ski all winter long...

9:1 barrels and pistons and 30 thou off the heads (same as 24hr race cars)
Lightened flywheel (skimmed not holed)
Racing cam
Gas flowed heads
Forced air induction
Baffle-less exhaust system
Pulls around 95mph on the flat (that's off the end of the standard speedo)
Top clocked was 105 but on a slight hill on the M1
Soon to be back to it's original blue as the paint job is in a bit of a state.
Not the fastest car I've owned by a long shot, but easilly the most fun, especially when leaving angry young whipper snappers behind at the lights ;)

Praise be to God for drunken 14-year-olds who turn into traffic. The world just wouldn't rock as hard without them. They are a blessing. Teenage drinking = AWESOME! My chest still hurts from that.
