TmEE's MEGA AWSOME Mega Drive Mods !!!

I got my Nomad from TmEE some days ago. The guy has done wonders to it:

*Replaced the old scratchy screen with a new one I bought on eBay. It looks a lot better now.

*Region mods. Hold Mode during startup to enter PAL mode and release it when the game has booted to return to NTSC mode. Here is Elitserien 96 running:

*As you might have seen, there is a blue LED (light-emitting diode) instead of the regular red one. But that one is also available...

*Virtua Racing sucks batteries harder than Monica sucked Bill. As a warning, the LED changes to red colour again so I know I must change batteries. Or to my AC adaptor :).

TmEE also did an overclocking mod at 10 MHz. I've made a video at 14MB showing its brilliance in Thunder Force IV. You might see it someday :).

I recommend ALL people to send away their stuff to TmEE so he can mod it or repair it for you. He knows what he is doing and doesn't ask for much for it. I gave him two broken Mega Drives, both model one. My friend is going to send his broken Mega Drive to him and give him lots of games for that. So contact the lad and send your stuff to him, it is totally worth it! :D

I got like 8 Nimh batteries of very large capacity (2800maH).. They should handle well to a Nomad :p

My model 2 Sega CD won't read most discs now. I think the lens needs calibrating. Can Tim fix this?

I guess not; he does not own a Mega CD and has never even touched one afaik.

I could usually fix it, but I prefer local repairs..

For now I'm doing only MDs/Gennies... once I get MCD/SCD and/or 32X I'll bo doing those too.

can you also mod my megadrive 2 so i can play all regions without using
megakey 2 or gamegenie and with stereo output

as for payment i have a box full of megadrive games are if you are interested

My mega drive and first two games cost me £2 when i bought it... and yes it was broken, my dad "patched it up" and it works perfectly now - but it was the AC port that was screwed and the power lead just goes straight in a big hole on the back of my MD and it can't be removed. I'm guessing i'd need to put in a totally new something where the AC cable goes. PM me if you think you could help or have ideas, thanks.

ACDC : I'm willing to mod your MD2, MD2s are my favourite :)

sonicwatcher6969 : Its easy to "fix" it, just get one power connector and a matcing plug from electronics shop, solder connector into MD and plug onto the cable (while not swapping polarity) and done !!! But I think your dad took out the small PCB from the system if its MD1... is it MD1 ? if it its, and there's no small PCB there, it will be tougher.
