I got reply form PayPal, and I can't set up my NON-US bank account... damn. MoneyOrder is little too expensive(20$...30$ depending on sum sent... ew)... I doubt wire transfer is that expensive.

Can't you accept paypal payments if you have a Visa type debit or credit card?
I need to get money off PayPal account (for shipping), and for that I need my bank account.
I think if your bank account has a Visa debit (or credit) card attached to it you can transfer money from paypal into your bank account. If your current bank account card only lets you take money out of cash machines, and not let you buy things from shops directly, that is the problem.
My debit card won't do, and I have no credit card (and never will have)... and I can get money off my account with a card (either credit or debit), not add it :(
That sucks, is it a Visa type card though? Perhaps it would be worth setting up a second bank account with a visa card just to accept paypal payments with.
It is Visa card
Another option, you can get a paypal debit card, which would let you take money straight out of your paypal account from ATM cash machines.
I have no idea if that would work here in Estonia...
Its worth investigating, as most people prefer to pay by paypal these days.
heres a link for it on their site:

I will... I want to get this working
Here is a video I made to demonstrate the overclock mod Tiido did. I held the Nomad with one hand and the camera with the other:

Shipping is going to be a bitch to Europe for my Genesis model 2.
it will be... anyway, it seems I can't have any use for paypal... actually I can use it to buy stuff (with the money I get from you), but in the end, I'll be broke when paying for shippings as I have no income... yet... need to finish schools first before planning on getting a job.
Sorry for double post....
I got an idea :
You put shipping money into the MD and service money goes to my PayPal account. I know sending money is illegal, but its the only nice way.
I want that teddy bear... it's so damned cute! Where can I get one?!
In a shop in Stockholm :D.
by the way zebbe
elisterien 96 is that nhl 96 and it is expensive
Yes, it is a Swedish version of NHL 96. Goes for around $10 compleet.
ACDC owns a MD2 on the next level

I see you have a Dreamcast, Master System II, MD1 and MD2 - Nice setup! :)

Audio mod kicks ass :)
It certainly does! :)
In my opinion, the very first generation MD1 has excellent audio via their headphones out. Much much better than the MD2 via AV. Yet, your audio mod does beat even that in brilliance.
- Can you explain a bit on how it works ? Why is the audio so distorted on old MD2s but not on even older MD1s ? Why is the MD1 sound so much clearer than that of an unmodified MD2 ? What is the TMSS ? Why do MD2s have it and MD1s not ? And why is it the key to your modification ? Are there MD1s with TMSS ?
my mod just replaces the extremely shitty audio mixing circuit present in MD2s. MD1s sound good as they have way better mixing stuff in them, but the later the model, the shittier the sound (there's 8 variations of MD1 AFAIK).Quote:

TMSS is not a key, at least not in audio part, its just a simple way of categorizing MD1s.
What would be a good price for a Sega Nomad?
I seem to have missed this.... price depends on where you live, and what would you like to be done with the Nomad.
I've repaired/modded more Nomads than other Sega stuff !!! Done 4, 5th is coming...
Where's the other part of this thread ?
I've asked Melf and Joe Redifer to split ACE's kinda OT questions regarding the CCAM: http://www.sega-16.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5079
TmEE you sound like a genius well versed in sega technology,i wonder if you may be able to help me or even complete a little project for me.i am unfortunately a complete imbecile in regards to the technology and have a few questions.i know im a newbie but this project needs a wise mans assistance
This is gonna be OT so use the PM button, but I think you need 10 posts before you can PM or start new threads.
does ten of the same count?? sorry,if i just ask a few q's then maybe i can get that pm a bit quicker.
what kind of mods do you do,as i am looking for a way of replacing a mega cd drive with a small formfactor cd drive (i.e laptop cd drive or external laptop drive) owing to project space constraints.
You can't replace the CD drive of MCD that easily, MCD is much more than a CD drive.
I do lot of mods, region switches, overclocking, LED changes, S-vid mod, audio mod, you name it...
oh,i know it will have all manner of control chips and other stuff, its just that the drive is sooo huge .having the beast apart without dismantling the cd drive assembly has left me unable to continue.its a shame though that it was made so difficult,as i just want a different drive controlled by the same machine.
an mcd2 isnt suitable as its top loaded.
have you any knowledge of the plug in tv 'megadrives' and whether their inners can be modded to work with mcd?
Nomad can be made to work with a MCD for sure, I haven't gotten around doing it yet... for other things, most likely not.
the only other option is shrinking the megadrive internals, which is why i was thinking of the plug and play especially this one
http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-01-49-en-70-2sf4.html
otherwise i have to completely remake the pcb's for the mega cd and md which i have no idea how to!!
this thing will not work, it does not use any "real HW" compatible parts.
im not technical enough to re-jig the pcb's or remake them.if only the megajet/genesis 3 werent so flippin expensive.grrr
Genny3 is expensive ? There's not enough info to get Genny 3 a MCD slot added, or at least certain models. MD2 + MCD2 is not that big at all... only a little bit more wider than MD1 and lot less tall than MD1+MCD1.
its not height,it is down to safe repositioning within limited space and the md2 pcb is still quite large and the mcd1 pcb is two part along with cd arrangement.
the problems with this project are just so numerous it makes me wish i had never started.
maybe i should just rethink and try to stick md2 and mcd2 into a saturn case instead.makes sense but sounds like too much of a sensible thing to try.
Md1+MCD1 is a monster... :D
I see you have one :P
I have MD2+MCD2+32X
