"state something completely random time!"

Every time I walk into my local Toys R Us I expect to get to the video game section and see the Genesis kiosk with Altered Beast on the corner it was at when I first saw it. This TRU has the same arrangement as the one in San Antonio I used to shop at as a kid. I always walk down the second isle and expect to see Master System games, and the console isle and expect to see those Master System 3D glasses sitting there just beckoning me to buy them.

Oh, the joy of walking in a toys R' Us during the 16bit era and seeing those yellow game slips. No rose tinted glasses are needed there. I remember the one I went to had two, TWO!, isles, both sides, of nothing but games. Consoles and hardware was in glass cases in a whole separate isle.

Ooh, yeah, we just had one portion of an isle for consoles and hardware, and another isle for games. Puzzle and board games were on the far wall of the building. That's the eerie thing about this local Toys R Us, it is exactly the same to this day. The glass booths for the hardware, the paper slips for the games, everything is the same. The TRU in San Antonio was the only place in the whole city that carried Master System games and then Genesis games for the longest time.

The only thing even slightly similar would be to have a Federated Group or Bjorn's here in town that I could walk into and imagine for a minute that it was still the late 80s and early 90s.

Nope. He was there alright. Mitch Barry was the name. His name came up along with everyone who bought the posterity edition.

wtf? Why would someone have a lame ass screen name like eddiespruce if it wasn't their real name? The whole point of a screen name is to make yourself look cooler while remaining anonymous.
