JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -
A 24-year-old Jacksonville man who didn't like his boyfriend's taste in music let him know about it by hitting him in the face with a plate, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Police said 33-year-old Todd Fletcher has a large cut on the side of his face to prove it.
Allen Casey was arrested Sunday after police said he acted on his displeasure that Fletcher was listening to Alanis Morissette.
"That's all that (expletive) listens to," Casey said, according to a police report.
A witness told police she heard the fight and looked outside and saw Casey hit Fletcher in the face with his hands.
Police said Casey admitted hitting his boyfriend when an officer questioned him at a nearby park in San Marco.
Keepin' it classy, J-Ville.
I'll probably just end-up buying one though. They run for about $650 (give or take $50) 'round these parts.
Felt an earthquake a little while ago. Scared the crap out of me because its not like I live in California, I live on the east coast where earthquakes arent common. Thats the 2nd one in 2 years I left. Minor ones yes but that still cant be a good sign.
What State?
Mass. They said it was centered in Maine and was felt throughout New England.
PORTLAND, Maine (AP) — An earthquake in southern Maine has rattled nearby New England states.
The U.S. Geological Survey said the epicenter of the 4.6 magnitude quake was about 3 miles west of Hollis Center, Maine, and about 3 miles deep. That location is about 20 miles west of Portland.
The quake was felt in Vermont, New Hampshire and Massachusetts, including Boston, and as far south as Rhode Island and Connecticut.
The Maine Emergency Management Agency had no immediate reports of damage. The York County Communications Center near the epicenter was inundated with emergency calls, and dispatchers were too busy to talk.
Does anyone here actually like smart cars ? Every time I see one of them on the road the first thing that comes to mind is that person could be toast if they ever get into a collision.
