Hey QuickScifi: High five for beating oldschool Castlevania games!
Anyone ever been to Autozone ? Are they helpful over there or is it just like every other place with poor customer service and workers who dont know what they are talking about ?

Sorry. I was trying to understand what you were saying.
I still want that list, though. :p
Honestly, though. I want to play those games you're talking about.

Obsidian is a emulator that uses stolen code from the Sega Smash Pack collection. As with the Smash Pack, it's an ok emulator, but the sound is terribly off.
Here's how Aladdin runs on it. ATGames eat your heart out. This is my video btw.

Also I recorded some gameplay of Gunlord here if anyone wants to see it, not that many direct vids of it on the 'Tube.
EDIT:
There's wasn't anything of this on Youtube, so here's some footage of "Whispered Secrets", a homebrew game for the DC like those old "Choose your own Adventure" style games. Crude, but a lot of fun.
Nope.

Besides I'm sure you two have already played any games I would have named.
edit: I changed my mind. I'm not going to cop out on you guys, but I am sticking with the NES stuff since those were the games I was thinking about when I wrote that. So here are a list of NES games that I consider just as good as the Castlevanias, but don't get half the respect. I also picked games that were somewhat similar in mechanics (i.e. platforming and primarily melee attacks). I kept to standard official US releases also.
Jackie Chan's Action Kung Fu
Whomp 'em
Bram Stoker's Dracula
Battle of Olympus
Captain America and the Avengers
Shatterhand
Powerblade 1 & 2
G.I. Joe
Faxanadu
Kick Master
Kabuki Quantum Fighter
Monster in my Pocket
