I will try Zelda: Wind Waker, just because I like the series. But the other stuff just doesn't scream "Buy me! Buy me!".

P.S.> I, however, would've loved it if Alien Hominid and Viewtiful Joe had been exclusives. That would've made the system a lot more relevant to me. I can tell you that I have Baten Kaitos, and I know of part 2 and the prequel which are also exclusives. Those are the kind of games I'm talking about.

Ah the N64 I never liked it with the exception of the Zelda games & Super Mario 64. The vast majority of the games on the system look horrible and have broken controls and the controller itself just sucks.

Don't forget terrible camera angles!

And QuickScifi, several of those games ARE screaming "Buy me!!" You just have to open your ears.

I loved Wind Waker. Unfortunately, I played through Ocarina of Time recently and was dismayed to find that they are pretty much the same game.

Trust me, I know of all of them and unfortunately I'm not stoked about getting any of them, except Wind Waker.

Oh and QSS, get the Limited Edition of Wind Waker - it includes OoT and the remixed "Master Quest" version as a bonus cd.

It was a bad thing to learn that Wind Waker was not nearly as clever as I thought it was.

Conversely, it was surprising to realize how incredibly sophisticated Ocarina of Time was, considering how crude its console generation was. I love Mario 64, but it is incredibly clunky compared to Mario Galaxy. By contrast, Ocarina still stands up pretty favorably against later games in the series (and my opinion means more because I am not blinded by nostalgia, having not played it BITD).

I mean that there were several gameplay elements that I thought were quite clever in Wind Waker that I later found were first used in Ocarina. Don't ask for specifics. All I remember now is thinking "Oh, that came from here" many times while playing through Ocarina.

I still find the entire Zelda series to be grossly overrated. Even its best games are not that great.

All I know is that A Link to the Past is one of the best games I've ever played.
