The first time I updated Ubuntu and Unity popped up I was pissed off. I promptly just installed the classic gnome and most things went back to normal. I haven't tried mate though. Looks promising. I love my Linux but there are lots of little things to install and beat into submission that shouldn't be necessary much less the freaking desktop.Quote:

I really just want to put out some crackhead bait, like a huge pile of wire, copper, brass, crts to smash, and some alcohol in the middle of the road and just sit on my roof and wait. For some stupid reason I'm not allowed to kill them but can't I at least hit them with some hunting pellets or balloons full of paint?
maybe you use a paintball gun
I guess that would look more accidental.
