Jokes aside, the original Xbox is an awesome machine. I've got 4 of 'em, all modded, all running XBMC, and each one plugged in via ethernet.

I got 2 myself, both pimped out with the LCD fronts and one with the XCM blue transparent case, both have 160gb HDD's.

Been using them as media players since 2002, now that's well spend money!

I was originally going to go that route, but I think it'll be easier just to get a NAS and throw some files on it, that way all my 'Boxes can access my movies/shows.

Actually I have a NAS just for that, 4TB's of movies/series/toons/sports/etc.

The internal HDD's are for xbox games/emu's/apps only. (even the roms get streamed from the NAS)

Thta's actually a good idea, wasn't even thinking of games for a moment then. I wish someone would hack a new firmware so you could run games from USB, guess I'll have to install a new HDD after all.

Most of the games I've tried don't emulate well on the 360. Outrun 2 has numerous graphical and sound glitches, and Morrowind crashes alot more than usual, and that game crashed alot on the original Xbox.
