Yeah, I'm sorry to hear this. I wish you strength for the times to come.
And that the pain may subside with time.

Thanks guys.
Yeah the inevitable was known to us months ago but you're always hanging to any shred of hope. FUCK cancer.
Sorry to hear that, Theirry. I lost my mother to cancer last year as well, still feels like it's all not real. If you need to talk to someone, drop me a PM if you want. Godspeed and best wishes.
Sorry to hear that Thierry.
I appreciate the words, and sorry to hear about your own mom. Most certainly I'll take you up on that PM offer. Thank you.
Yeah this one is hard because of who she was. Not only my mom but she was the most gentlest, soft spoken, kindest soul I ever knew. Until recently she used to give most of her time helping out at a homeless shelter here in central Johannesburg, and she'd be forever telling us how proud it made her feel in doing so.
Thanks man.
While I was out and about today, I ended up talking with this person and it came up that she had cancer. I right away wanted and did ask right away "How did you cure it, chemo or natural ways?" She replied natural. Stuff like this always makes me wonder, the world wouldn't be so wicked as to suppress natural cures for cancer, would it?
You do know that some chemo drugs are derived from plants right? There is no magic cure for cancer that's being suppressed.
Too much money to be made from a cure.
Strange how you can be so certain about it. I mean, there seems to be a ton of info and witnesses on natural cancer cures out there. And there's no doubt natural cures for other things being suppressed too. I mean, there's natural cure clinic out there and a massive encyclopedia book on natural cures with lots of revisions to them. Surely these books wouldn't have lasted so many revisions in if they were bogus? Ditto for these natural cure clinics.
Well, they last because there is no shortage of people like yourself who believe in it.
I think the biggest alarm would be the crazy costs of cancer treatments. Someone is playing us for sure.
I also offer my condolences, TH. Believe me, I know how that feels. I lost my mom from Lupus complications in 2008.
Hang in there. It's going to hurt. A lot. For a while. It does get easier, though, and hopefully you have a support group around you. (friends and family).
My argument here: Is Steve Jobs still alive?
Jobs was diagnosed with a version of Pancreatic Cancer (I lost my dad last year to pancreatic cancer). The difference was that Jobs had the (very rare) variation that actually moves slow, is detectible early, and is treatable with modern medical techniques. Didn't matter. Jobs went with homeopathic treatments to start...and he progressively got worse. After several months he dropped the homeopathic treatments and went for more conventional (if memory serves, radiation and surgery, no chemo) treatments. His cancer went into remission for 7 or 8 years...and then it came back. The second time it ultimately killed him. There's a high probability that if Jobs hadn't waited to get tradition medical treatment, whatever free-radicals that caused his cancer might not have spread while doing his homeopathic treatment, and he might still be here. This leads me to my second argument.
Apple is worth more than multiple pharmaceutical companies combined. You can't tell me that it wouldn't have been worth it for Apple to buy out what ever "Cancer cure" exists outright for Jobs to remain alive and being Apple's visionary. Except Steve Jobs is dead.
Cancer is a cellular mutation, and can have many different causes, and even multiple causes. These also vary from person to person. In actuality there really isn't a single thing that is "Cancer." Everyone's cancer is more or less unique to them. Its amazing medical science is as good as it is at treating it (and make no mistake, there are many forms of cancer that are outright curable at this point, and its always getting better).
It is certainly possible if someone was having issues/allergies/reactions with processed foods, or some exposure to everyday chemicals (cleaning, clothing, inks, dyes, ect) that could in theory cause cancer, and removing those things are enough for the body's natural healing ability to overcome whatever cancer had developed. It does happen...but its statistically the exception, not the norm.
