I know it only got one season, I was just saying that IF it had gotten up to season 5 you would have stopped watching because there's never any kind of resolution in these shows.
Just more and more mysteries and more and more people being swapped around for new blood and even deeper going mysteries that never ever get resolved.
My parents loved that show, but even they admitted that it wasn't going anywhere. it was the reason why they quit watching that one where the dead come back or the under the dome show.
Typical never ending stories that only end because they get cancelled, and then suddenly the creator goes on twitter and tells his audience about the big plans he had! if only one more season..
Yeah right.
Edit : But yes, that rural Florida swamp setting was strangely comfy.
^Don't get me wrong. I completely get your point, though. I don't mind strangeness, but I want a resolution. I'd have to give "Invasion" the benefit of the doubt, since it only got one season and it did hook me. But as much as I loved "Lost", for instance, it had a shitty resolution. So I know where you're coming from.
It's a very annoying tv show making mentality, nobody really makes a show with a set endgame these days.
Then again they've been doing it for years, I still remember when my dad and sister decided to watch Twin Peaks in 1990.
Everybody was like "cancelled too soon!" no.. no. they cancelled it cause it wasn't going anywhere.
Milk Milk Milk.
CrystalPepsiMan is one of my favourite members here.
And as for TV shows damn I loved Mad Men, like a lot.
...I was wondering if I should know about what happened in here(which I didn't know it was this thread). My condolences to Thierry & family, I've lost a number of relatives to that shitty disease(probably be a victim of it myself), some that basically were my Thanksgiving.
Speaking of(happy belated to everyone that celebrated it)
Same here, I remember catching his lesser known movies in my very early teenage years(was 14 when he died) on Comedy Central, which is how I came to enjoy stuff like Who's Harry Crumb?, Once Upon a Crime, Armed & Dangerous, Going Berserk, Delirious, Only the Lonely, etc. (fuck Nothing but Trouble though. None of the talent in the world could elevate the piece of shit of a concept that movie was)
Also, always remember to avoiding sticking your hand between 2 pillows :p:

Thank you. And I'm sorry to hear about your own losses.
BTW, call me Mike. :)

Do you trust Castro's death?
With long term dictators, you don't trust they're not dead.

Turns out he was dead after all.
