I think I may be the only person on this forum who didn't have some kind of run in with Thief or was insulted or offended by him in some way. On the contrary he was always a nice guy to me but, like I said, I'm just one guy and clearly in an extreme minority. I'm certainly not denying that he pissed people off in a major way, that much is obvious by scrolling through old threads.

Personally, despite having my own run-in with Thief, I can still take him or leave him. However, seeing as he brings no small amount of unhappiness to the forums, I’d be willing to swing to the latter. I don’t like seeing my dear friend Neovamp so ruffled.

I do think there may be a bit of bias involved between the 3 of us. Like remember in that "Year 2100" thread, people were saying nonstop that we made similar posts to him. Not the conspiracy theories though.

I don't know what direction it reads but if the paint on top of a CD is scratched then the disc is fucked. The data is on an inner layer not the surface and that layer is close to the label on the inside. So if the label has holes the laser goes through it.

I actually had some business late yesterday and on my way back I usually go via Randburg, in Joburg. That is the sellers location.
He showed me the game. That one disc, that small crack is on both sides. Very slightly on the top but more pronounced on the bottom surface area.
The rest of the contents are absolutely mint. Case and all. So I thought to take a chance and get it.

The Sega CD version of the game works up to a point and then freezes. Or more to the point, that particular portion of the video just loops over and over. Like an LP on a turntable repeating the same segment.

No issues though (when I have the 32X attached) in that disc telling me to "insert disc two and press start". That's basically all I was looking for. So I'm happy with it.

Shhhhh! (whispers) Don't remind people about that bloody thread! In all honesty we may have inadvertently offended some people in that thread but I don't think we pissed anybody off to the level that Thief seemed capable of, or even close. I mean if that was the case we'd be social pariahs on here like he became, right guys? (notices everybody staring angrily at them both from about twenty feet away) Uh...guys? (gulps) Everything...ok?

This might be a little crazy, but maybe we can all ignore his posts or not reply at any his posts or topics. Maybe Thief will get the picture. If not, ban him if he starts doing that conspiracy stuff again.
