Did you know... that John Williams actually wrote this as a full musical. I think the original idea was that Hook was going to be a stage play. Many of those songs obviously made it into the movie, others didn’t.Quote:

I won't ask what he originally posted. His recent posts suggest some kind of mental breakdown that, if true, is tragic.
I had a nice little surprise yesterday: a copious amount of blood in my pee.
I sat there staring at the toilet for a few minutes, silently debating what to do, and eventually I came downstairs and suggested to my wife that we should probably go to the hospital and please don't freak out (because I was on the verge of losing my shit myself).
Three hours and a CAT scan later, the doctor took me aside and said that it was a kidney stone, and wasn't I experiencing any discomfort? I said no, other than an occasional and very mild sensation of "kicked in the balls" that has popped up rather frequently in the past week. He remarked several times on my amazing pain tolerance, so I left the hospital feeling like The Hulk. He says it's "almost there" and I just need to drink plenty of water and wait for it to pass.
Now every trip to the bathroom feels like a round of russian roulette... I can't imagine how this is going to feel once it goes through.
Someone will post a Hulk gif of some sort, no doubt. :p

There was a guy on another forum that was complaining about his trip to the foot doctor. He had a couple plantar warts removed, and despite thinking he had a good pain tolerance, he experienced the worst pain of his life and wanted to go cry in a pillow.
I found his story pretty amusing, because I also had to go through that...multiple times, because they kept growing back. The painful part is that they jab a big needle deep into your very sensitive foot and fill it full of molten lava (and since we had two warts in different places, they have to do it twice). It's even more painful for guys since we're more sensitive to pain. But when they did it to me, I stared out the window and gave zero reaction.
It was as if the podiatrist was wounded instead. He just couldn't believe it. It was only worse that he had to do it multiple times...he was in stunned disbelief every time. The only time he got anything out of me was when he just flat out asked, "doesn't it hurt?!?" And I replied, "oh, it hurts." I could be a legend now for all I know...every time he reduces a man to a puddle of tears, he tells the tale of the one guy who never even flinched.
What can I say? A stab in the foot is a long way from the heart.
