This is my favorite video on TLJ:

Benicio Del Toro. I say he was the nastiest because he was treacherous and backstabbing, whereas Hux was a cartoon and Kylo Ren almost had some redeeming moments in the film...
...But honestly everyone was stupid, so I’m actually embarrassed to look into any of them too deeply. It was just a very, very weak attempt on my part to show that Disney doesn’t only have white males fill up the villain roster.

No, this isn't a conspiracy video. It's about land ownership.
How many movie-goers know the difference, do you think?
I IMDB’d it and you are correct. Doesn’t change my post at all, though. I’m sure those market research people who paint ethnicities in broad strokes so they can appeal to as many groups as possible would scratch out “Puerto Rican” and write in “MEXICAN,” though... which was kind of where I was going with my original post.
Yes, I know... I’m just awful. I’ve got paper & carbons ready for my written apology. I think I owe Oscar Isaac one, too. :?
I enjoyed The Last Jedi. It was a good movie with some imperfections but all this stuff about who is what gender or ethnicity is irrelevant.
When I look at the upcoming and already released games for the Switch that are 3rd party it's kind of an odd system that reminds me of 2 systems I adore. SNES and Dreamcast. You have the RPGs left and right like SNES even some from SNES and made to look like SNES like Osteopath. Then we have what DC got a lot of. Ports of middleware PC games. It's a mix of both and I think that's the biggest reason I really enjoy it. If I were to throw a 3rd system in there it would be Saturn. It has some of those odd but really niche smaller games on Eshop and Saturn of Japan is loaded with these and yeah the last part is a bit vague but not sure how to describe it really. My PS4 for me feels like a remake of either PS1 or PS2 or just a mix of both. So yeah my favorite modern systems are mainly their library is reminding me of past systems in the types of games they get.
Working for an independent Game store has really opened my eyes to a lot of things. I've been here for close to a year and I have the cool customers who come in, buy shit and shoot the breeze. Today I had this 6'1 bearded guy come in with his wife/GF w/e and they were looking thru stuff. He seemed OK at 1st so I didn't think much about it since I make it a habit to greet everyone who comes in the door to see if there is anything I can do.
He really wanted this Zelda themed new 3DS XL and I could tell pretty quickly that his woman was the money holder cuz he literally kept begging her to buy it for his birthday in a few days. She was pretty much standing her ground thru it all with a flat out "No." Well after awhile they look thru the store and I was talking to one of the cool guys I know about some stuff I don't fully remember but I think we were talking about the Switch and whatnot and this guy comes back up to talk to us also which I didn't mind and then he says
"Well Nintendo failed at everything with the N64, The Gamecube, The Wii and the Wii U so they were close to going out of business."
I told him "Nintendo is the one company that isn't going to go broke in yours or my lifetime. They could bleed money for years and still stay in business."
Then this shit.. "Well Nintendo is doing great now and they're really rich." I noticed him looking at an LE Box for Sonic Mania for Ps4 and then he says..
"Well you know how well Nintendo is doing since they own Sega now."
I was like... "Uh no Nintendo doesn't own Sega at all."
"Yes they do, They've owned Sega since 2014 so it's funny seeing a company owned by Nintendo making games on the PS4."
"No, Nintendo has never owned any of Sega's properties."
"Yes they do! It's all about the money since Nintendo owns Sega they easily can get their games on other systems for which Nintendo is smart with!"
After that I just stopped talking to the guy and let him go on his merry way. I normally don't let shit like that bother me but the way he mouthed it off like it was pure fact and he believed it just hit a rare nerve within me.
You should have said something like "Well, it doesn't really matter since SNK bought Nintendo last year" and gone away.
LOL I should have but I was too stunned at that moment to think I was talking to someone this fucking stupid in real life instead of on the internet. It reminds me of the time of a guy I know who works at his own store also. He sold this customer an original Gameboy. He tested it of course made sure it worked in front of the customer and sold it to him and went on his merry way.
The customer comes back in to the store super pissed off at him mouthing off about he sold him a broken system. He keeps track of the serial #s of the systems he sells since bait and switch seems to be a common damn thing with some scummy people these days. Well after talking to this guy he finally finds out that the dude who had this thing decided it was a little dirty so he felt the best way to clean the system was to wash it in his kitchen sink.
Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, I probably would have clocked out after that. lol
Ideally speaking, Disney would not start off w/o preconceived notions such as the importance of making a female the hero, changing the Star Wars formula, etc.., Since that isn't happening, the end result is the first two entries in the new trilogy. The films are junk because of, yes, lazy writing and bad casting along with the factors I mentioned in my first sentence. The wheel does not need to be reinvented.
