Plenty do. Just like plenty of people still, buy LPs and brand new turntables. I have a stereo I bought only a couple years ago. I play Videogame OST on it and they are released on CD. My most recent one came out in May with Xenoblade2.

I was thinking of standalone CD players. There probably hasn't been one since 2007.
Mine only plays CDs.
Amazon has plenty of stand alones new.

Ok I see theres still a niche market for them.
But even stuff like the PS4 dropped CD support. I support 4K Blu-Rays but it doesn't matter if CDs go the way of the dodo with VHS.
On a related note, anyone looking forward to Kong v Godzilla (or whatever they're calling it)?
I am.
Yeah, kinda.
What? The PS4 doesn't play audio CDs (as I shake my head) because they don't want to support them? As if the optical drive was unable to keep up with or it was hard to keep the driver software in the PS OS? Wow
I thought that's what Rampage was. Ha-ha
I myself didn't realize until recently that Kong Skull Island was going to be apart of the Godzilla franchise as I was sitting through the entire credits and saw the teaser at the very end waiting for the next movie to start. Can't say I liked Skull Island at first watch?
If you care about CD players, start hitting thrift stores for them. I got an HDMI-capable Sony receiver for ten dollars last year, and it works perfectly. I keep seeing Sony, Sanyo, and other CD player decks for a pittance, but sometimes I see them hipster-priced, too. No, I've never seen a $4 CDi, like Clint did. Nothing that good ever shows up in the midwest.

This is what happens when you trust Gearbox to make a quality product, and they run with your money and make Borderlands 2 instead.
Edit: Now I have to scrub my history so it doesn't look like I frequent a site known for pedophilia.
I can't believe how many awesome RPGs I own that I haven't yet played. Nintendo DS, 3DS, NES, SNES, GameCube, Wii, Wii U, Switch, NES Classic, SNES Classic, Genesis, PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, PSP, PS Vita, Xbox 360. Possibly hundreds. I think it's time to stop procrastinating and start playing.
