In case it's taken the wrong way. I have no issues who marries who. Been to a gay wedding. Grew up around the gay community with my parents and me being in theatre/film. In fact, I went to a gay wake with the guy who's name was David, they had his body propped up in a lawn chair with a Hawaiian shirt on with a drink. Every year there is a huge gay parade outside my window and one of my best friends is bi/pan.


I'm just excited for Football season as well.

Excellent point. We live in a world of hypocrisy and double standards when it comes to 'social justice'.

"Social Justice" needs to be shelved until slavery has been abolished worldwide, including "nearly 100% of your income goes to 'staying alive' expenses". People are crying about their pronouns when children are being worked to death to make shoes and purses. But as always, that's somebody else's problem, and if you raise a big stink about the wrong corporation, you'll wake up neck deep in concrete, in an oil drum.

I'm still awe struck that the Pledge of Allegiance isn't even spoken at the beginning of first period in today's classrooms. For shame.

Never stood up and saluted at sporting events. Just don't care. I don't hate the US. Just not one about country pride.

I'm an atheist and anti monarchist (I sound like Johnny Rotten there). For those two reasons the British anthem means nothing to me, though the music is quite stirring.

My brother was telling me today about how 'shook' millenial types get by stuff. The funny thing is that in our (Northern) family he's considered a bit PC, but his mates in London, where he lives, consider him right wing!

Even though I live in America, I'm not American. However, I've always said the pledge and I don't understand why people don't. It's a great way to show my appreciation for my homeplace. If people don't like it, no one's holding them here.

I don't dislike it. I like it fine. Just don't care to say the pledge. I just didn't feel like it.
