Not a fan of Dia myself. She's a bit extreme. Her twitter is just transgenders and racism against her. I can do without her. My original comment was a throwaway inside half joke. My real issue is as I explained before is my personal preference on freedom of a true open world game and how games need to take the next step like BoTw has in just purely speaking of the world. Not diving into the story or the nitty gritty of gameplay unless it involves traversal or true freedom rather than the illusion of it. Quick, bonus, Mathews is more worked up over it than I really am as my issue is not with Horizon really but AAA games and mostly western antiquated open world map design.

To each his own, I guess. Plenty of games out there for everyone. I consider Horizon the best game of 2017. Others disagree. I wipe my ass with it because I'm in this to enjoy myself.

This morning I opened the paper and someone with whom I attended school was "victim" of receiving multiple calls from a spoofed number. He didn't know what a spoofed number was (we will get to why later) so he thought the only logical recourse was to text the number back multiple times and threaten to blow up the building. He was promptly arrested at his place of employment and releases on a very low unsecured bail. I wonder if the charges will stick because he is a simpleton to which his mother attributes to living next to a battery plant that contaminated the soil with lead.

IMO best game of 2017 was Yakuza 0 and More Automata but 2017 is so full of great games it would be easy for many to have multiple faves. This year despite how busy my wallet has been, I just don't have a clear fave yet. I usually do by this point. I loved Yakuza 6 and enjoying Kiwami 2 but they have not grabbed me outright and said GOTY no question. What was so impressive about Y0 winning GOTY for me is I am such a huge Xenoblade fan and I loved XB2 and looking forward to Torna in a couple weeks but Y0 took me by total surprise. I really thought at first Nier or Persona 5 had it in the bag. Man 2017 was just too good and 2019 is already looking to be a killer year. Even just the first few months are full of great looking games. I could list 20 or more I want in 2019 but what excites me most in 2019 is Daemon X Machina, DMCV and Bayonetta 3 (possible but no confirmation) 2019 will pull my devil trigger! Let's party!

My friend swears by Persona 5. To each his own. That's the beauty of it.

My wife says that if they made a movie about me, I would be played by Paul Rudd.

Kind of shocking really, since Dwayne Johnson is the obvious choice.

He prefers it over 4 because he tells me the dungeon battle system is much more streamlined and dynamic.

Hmm, if I wanted to pick a game for Persona to use the dungeon design from it would be Tokyo Mirage Sessions, they were not random and had cool puzzle elements to them. TMS is Persona lite. Underrated game and enjoyed it more than P5. I liked P5 dungeons were not random but they felt too long. The game while I liked it, just got bloated after a while.
