OK While I am a fan of Queen, I'm not a fan of Biopic films. However, I found out Marc Martel sings in the film as Freddie. This makes me want to see it. He's wrongly called a Freddie impersonator but that's not the case. His voice naturally sounds near identical to Freddie. There is one clear difference. FM's voice was naturally a bit deeper but raised the pitch for Queen. If he sang in his more natural voice he would sound a lot like Pavarotti. Marc Martel has to lower his voice to sing like that. So they are in reverse. This is why Marc did this amazing piece.

I have never lived in another country so can anyone confirm if there is a worse Postal Service than USPS? Is Royal Mail as bad or worse? I'm so fed up with USPS esp last few years. I much prefer privatized delivery services so at least when they fuck up, there will be repercussions and they try to solve the issue. USPS is just "Sorry but we don't give a fuck"

I'm not going to lie, these things weren't for the faint of heart. It involves making a meringue with sugar and egg whites and folding it into the flour mixture. We made a terrific mess out of the kitchen and they were more high-maintenance to cook than normal pancakes.

But damn were they good!!! Nothing like "traditional" pancakes.

I couldn't find the exact recipe we used, but my wife and I were inspired by this video:

The recipe we did used lemon juice instead of buttermilk. I also had a happy accident where I used almond extract, and we ended up preferring that mixture over the "correct" recipe. I think these would go great with orange extract, as well.

Yeah. We don’t often cook together, but we do enjoy finding new dishes and recipes. We also share kitchen space very well, so our cooperative meals are always fun

Cooking was never fun to me, more a desperate attempt to wring some enjoyment from life. It's funny. I used to design insane cookies, and make them, but over the years of killing myself at my last job, the designs became less complex, until I quit baking entirely. Even now, I'll just have peanut butter and saltine crackers with water for dinner. If you ever find yourself not being born into wealth, hit the reset button as soon as you can.

I'd rather not have learned that the safest place to sleep in the city is near the railroad tracks, as feral dogs and random thugs avoided them. I'd like to not know what it's like to have to perform surgery on myself. I'd be pleased to have never eaten food picked from a garbage can. I'd be blessed to have never spent three days and nights with no food or water. I would be overjoyed to have never experienced clinical death.
Wealth does not preclude one from learning from the mistakes and failures of others, to avoid committing them yourself. Wealth provides virtually unlimited opportunity. Wealth prevents one from wasting their youth in the attempt to keep from starving to death.

That is a very naive approach. Would you rather not know who to trust your entire life?

Different strokes I guess. I wouldn't wish excess wealth on my worst enemy. Well maybe on them.

Poor people don't get betrayed by friends and family? Well having experienced homelessness, crushing poverty, debilitating injuries, death, and myriad other miserable things, I would have to say I speak from a pretty educated stance. May you always feel as if you have a hair in your mouth, a lint ball in your sock, a popcorn hull between your teeth, and an eyelash in your eye.
