See, I’m an old crusty bastard like Raijin, but while I hear and empathize with the hand that he got dealt, I can’t help but feel his story has a happy ending. He has a computer and an internet connection, so clearly he got himself off the street and out of the breadline. And, because I’m generally inclined to believe the best in people until folks like Crystalpepsifan prove me wrong, I inclined to believe that his life improved by his own initiative. He may feel bitter and that’s certainly justified, but I’m reading his story in the light that he got dealt a rotten, rotten hand, and he got himself out of it. I can’t relate to his experience, but I can be inspired by his strength.
Same with you, QuickSciFi... your story is also very inspiring
