I think that particular movie was saved a bit by the actors in it (I’m a huge Sam Neill fan), but I think it fell apart around the halfway mark.
Mortal Kombat was KIND of okay, in a hilarious ‘this what the 90s were like, kids!’ kind of way.
But the Resident Evil movies were just stupid stupid stupid. I didn’t hate the second movie as much because it sort of followed the plot of the games. Also, didn’t he do the first Alien vs Predator movie? Because lol!
Event Horizon is great but it is butchered. A bunch of footage was cut to make an R rating and sadly that footage is destroyed.
I'm really into the idea of spicing up my retro game room with a desktop PC from anywhere between 1999-2001. I don't have much of a budget for anything crazy. Won't be connected online. I look on eBay and not finding much and what I do find is hundreds of dollars which is silly to me. Thrift stores don't carry them anymore esp old CRT monitors. Really not having much luck.

Ever since W98 turned 20, everyone has been interested in getting a retro PC setup. Sellers are cashing on that. Just avoid listings with "retro" or "Windows 98, 2000, etc" in the title, and you can still pick up a decent deal.
I was unaware there was a retro PC market. I hate these "retro" markets. Screws over the genuine collectors. I have some early to mid 90s PC games on CD-Rom. Just wanted a little corner with a late 90s PC with a small stack of CD-rom games of the mid to late 90s. Nothing too intensive like a Quake. As much as I love LGR I wonder if the blame goes to channels like that.
Packing my entire gameroom up and all of my house as we speak. Taking a smoke break. Out by tomorrow. Gonna be an all nighter. I sleep thursday night at my new place. Fuck, I hope none of my games get damaged.
