The only reason most of us are monitored is so corporate America knows what to advertise to us. It’s kind of nice, actually; like Big Brother is researching a Christmas list for you all year long... except you are the one spending all the money.
Also, am I the only one who finds Sonic Adventure to be a bit crap?
That's what I was trying to say before. I like SA but it's not a good game. Outside of a SEGA forum I usually see people say the same thing. It never really was. It still had charm, good music and finally gave SEGA fans a 3D Sonic. It's still just a clunky game. I will always love it but I can't honestly say it's good either.Quote:

The only reason I was ever impressed with Sonic Adventure was because I loved Sonic from my MD days and it was neat to see him go 3D.

The problem isn't so much that you're being watched, but that everybody is being watched and recorded, passively. Then when a reason comes up to look into you, your voluminous file is opened for review, and the telecoms are ordered to provide all of your communications going back however long. When a phone company tells you they don't do this, it's because the end employees are lied to. It's just a colossal pain to rebuild SMS databases and extract messages, which is why it usually requires a subpoena.
Prepare for some rambling and typing with a migraine.
PS4 and Switch feel like the 90s consoles I been looking for since the 90s. Every console hardware felt unique and it's own personality back then. Each console maker really was trying to contrast one another. Some of the most creative/imaginative games ever came from the era. Some of my fave series. Getting a new game was special. I still love getting games it's not as special anymore. Not just for me but people seem to treat getting new games as the flavor of the day and disposable. Maybe it's partially due to technical limitations but I love how games aimed for art style rather than realism. I do love how advanced games are in visuals but sometimes I want some limitation so my imagination can fill in the blanks. This is why I gravitated so strongly to PS4 and Switch this generation. They have so many smaller budget games that bring back that feeling of a game just being fun and feeling special. That feeling of discovery. From an Astebreed to a Monster Boy to BOTW to Assault Suit Leynos to Nex Machina or Raiden V and hundreds more. They give me the same joy as that kid who sat on the floor with a controller in his hands. I still enjoy Yakuza (boy do I!) and Dues Ex and AC Odyssey but those other games really hit me in the inner kid. The Switch partially being cartridge based (which I love carts) and getting games like Ocotpath to feel new but also a comfortable nostalgia feeling. Why it feels so right to play Sonic Mania, Wild Guns, Mega Man 11, Monster Boy on Cartridge. On PS4 I have Cosmic Star Heroine CE which came with the SEGA CD case and feels like that era of RPGs and Night Trap on disc feels right. A bunch of shmups between them new and old. They both offer me older games repackaged but also offer me games that are new that give me an old familiar feeling.
Not since Dreamcast has any system let alone 2 at the same time given me so much fun. More to come with DMCV & Daemon X Machina and much more.
What's the battery life for the switch when using it as a handheld?
3-6 hours depending on the game. BOTW about 3 hours but Gunbird 2 probably the 6 hours mark.
