The bit about the "Sega Pluto" is funny.
Damned scientific community and their stuffed shirts, PLUTO IS A PLANET! NO TAKEBACKS!
The bit about the Genesis is just as odd.

I think the "uncyclopedia" humor is lost on some, the whole point of the thing is to be odd.
... and odd it is!:)
It's kinda like the stupid shit we come up with, but applied to all subjects.
True that... we would make great contributors!:D
So, there I was at this rib cook-off in downtown Cleveland. I was there to eat ribs, drink beer (although it WAS Budweiser, but it was free) and see Shinedown.
I find a wall full of posters for future shows, and see that The Fray w/ Jack's Mannequin are coming in July! I call a friend and let her know about it, and she abruptly tells me to call off work at my new job to go to the concert. I agree. I just need to get ticket money together.
A booth near the entrance has a scavenger hunt that someone from out group entered. When it started he told our buddy that he could win Fray tickets (among other shows). I suddenly kicked my self for not entering.
He lost. I knew it was too go to be true and we walked away to eat.
We walk back an hour later, and the booth guy announces a karaoke contest in 10 minutes, for more concert tickets! I suddenly felt like singing!
I ask to do Limp Bizkit, but get denied. I then do some STP. Here's the thing, when the whole contest started, other than my group of 5, there were maybe 3 other people in the tent. By the end of "Plush", the tent was full. At least 20 people entered just because I sang! They loved it! The host put me in the finals.
My buddy went up and did Weezer and got in the finals as well. He knew I wanted the Fray tickets and said he'd try to win if I couldn't.
So, the finals arrived. My buddy wants to do Fuck Her Gently by Tenacious D but he is denied (It's a family festival!) so he goes Tribute. He gets 4th place.
So, I should mention that this whole time the host would come up and announce what tickets he has. Every time he mentions Creed the tent crowd booed. I'm not the biggest Creed guy, but I knew one song, and figured I'd have some fun with the group since I knew I wasn't winning.
There was this GREAT female singer that looked like a sure thing.
When it came to be my turn in the finals, With Arms Wide Open came up on the screen and I heard groans. I grab the mic.
"I know, it's Creed. You all hate Creed! I know you're gonna boo. Fuck you! It's a great and important song and I'm just gonna sing it. I don't care"
It was based on crowd reaction.
I FUCKING WON.
I beat, like, 20 other singers.
I'm going to see The Fray w/ Jack's Mannequin on July 1st.
But, after THAT adrenaline rush, it was Shinedown time.
Ever see Shinedown in concert?
Anyone?
THEY.
FUCKING.
ROCK!
My throat is gone, and my ears hurt. I was thrown into a impromptu mosh pit but I backed away because I'm not a fighter. Everyone went nuts and a dad grabbed his 9 year old son who was obviously at his first concert and made him body surf. Twice.
When they did a Chris Cornell song (Scream I think?) The crowd died. I mean, we were all laughing at how the energy got taken out of the room.
Then it was time for Second Chance and all was forgiven.
After the concert I looked outside the Amphitheater and saw the skyline on the lake. I was so DAMN proud to have been born in Cleveland at that moment.
Then on the ride home, we hear LeBron's miracle three, and we cheer again and have MORE adrenaline rushes.
Tonight fucking rocked! Me! Cavs! Shinedown! CLEVELAND!
So fucking proud.
Would I know anything by "The Fray"?
It`s a chilly 1 degrees (33.8 degree Fahrenheit) here at the moment, with rain and icy winds!:D
Thanks to Scrubs, The Fray reminds me of rabies and death.
Here is gets to be that temp (5F) and (with wind chill) it can dip to around -10F.
Colder than a penguins ass cold.
But that is in February, which is your June (winter month translation). I can't imagine getting out of school and it being cold....its so...UNNATURAL!
I'm alright with a warm x-mas though.
