Something tells me that particular performance wasn't fake.

And I'd beat him to make up for the past fifteen years or so during which I didn't, as clearly only a lack of discipline growing up could produce a teenager capable of throwing such an epic hissy fit.

Yup. Not that I advocate physical punishment; but, honestly, had I, or any of my sibblings, taken upon such behavior at that age, I don't think I'd be alive right now to post this reply. Heck, I'd get the beating of a lifetime just for asking for more salt during dinner.
