Yesterday I FINALLY finished that Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing playlist I was making, after I found the complete soundtrack to the game (sans the theme/credits music, So Much More, which I REALLY wanted)

Thankfully the tagger of the songs included the names of the games from which the tracks came from in brackets (for example "Samba de Janeiro (Samba de Amigo)"), which saved me from a huge pain in the ass, because if not I would have been guessing who made the tracks

And, also yesterday, I discovered that Euro House from Cruis'n World, whether if it is the one from the original arcade version or the version from the N64 port, is fucking funky awesome (FUNKY ACTION)

Really? When I played any of the Cruis'n games at the arcade (USA, World and Exotica) I would just listen to whatever track it started playing in the game. It wasn't 'till I played the N64 versions that I started to REALLY listen to the tracks, and recently when looking at my folder with videogame music (about 2GB worth of it, baby!) I found that I had downloaded the main theme from World and Euro House, but I forgot about them. And last year I downloaded the main theme from Cruis'n USA ("CRUIS'N, YEEEEEAH! CRUIS'N USA... YEAH!") and House Special (which I had discovered a year earlier thanks to ScrewAttack's VGV entry on the game)

And the only song from Exotica that I remember is the main theme (again, thanks to ScrewAttack's VGV)

And while on the subject, the N64 port of Cruis'n World kicks Cruis'n USA and Cruis'n Exotica's ports in the ass. Eurocom did an awesome job with the game.

I enjoyed the arcade, but those N64 ports offended me in their watered down-ness.

It also didn't help they were for the N64, a system I fully admit I detest.

When my brother went to go see a Primus concert in Minnesota, he found an Aerosmith arcade machine. Like this:

I never thought it was that great, but a lot of little kids at the time it was out liked it a lot. I just hated the controller as it wasn't anywhere near as good as the PS1 or Saturn Controllers, and the games didn't look that great too.

Yeah, they were watered down (especially Cruis'n USA which was supposed to look like the original arcade version because it supposedly ran on Ultra/N64 hardware, when in fact it ran on Midway-made hardware), but out of all 3 Cruis'n games on the system, World was the best

And yeah, I really don't like the 64 too. The only games I like for that (apart from are Banjo-Kazooie (WAY better than Mario 64, I says) and Perfect Dark. Oh yeah, WinBack and San Francisco Rush (both the original and 2049) were awesome too. There were some games that I liked as well, but most of the system's library sucks

Revolution X was just ridiculous, and the final boss is even more ridiculous (Helga transforms into something that looks like if it was taken from Smash TV, Total Carnage or NARC's last boss). It was one of the very last games I got for my Genesis back in 2006 (with the last one being Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?, which was a great choice). And I actually took the time to beat it. First in one player mode and then at a friend's house in two player mode. I still remember that day, we were both basically entertained while playing the game. Not too bad, but not too great either

But... Starfox 64! And... others! :d

I don't mind the controller for most things. It hurts my hands less than DC pads and Jaguar pads. And it comes in several festive colours.
