When I hung out with one of my friends at home this weekend, his nintendo whore idiot friend was there. We were playing cards and he gets out his mp3 player with speakers and turns it on. I shit you not, I had to listen to every crappy SNES Mario, Zelda, FF, Chrono Trigger, Metroid song/remix there is for three hours. I asked him towards the end if he had any Sega music on it. He hesitated for a few seconds with a "wtf" look on his face and then in the smuggest, most patronizing tone I've heard in a while he said "No, I do not have any Sega music. I grew up with Nintendo, that's what I play." Pardon the hell out of me. On a funnier note, when some stupid "fake SNES orchestra" song came on, he said it was from Final Fantasy. I asked if it was from FF3 and I got bitched out by him for not calling it by it's "correct" japanese title. Apparently I'm one of the stupid americans that doesn't know about the FF games that weren't brought over here. What a dick.

I've got a lot of Nintendo music on my iPhone. But mostly it's capcom/konami stuff. I can't seem to ever find Sega remix stuff worth having.

SNES music (most of it) can go, to quote Melf on the A Winner Is You thread (regarding LEGO Indiana Jones 2), fuck a duck. Genesis versions are way better. And I also hate that many people like those fake-ass "epic" songs from the FF games and many other RPGs for the system

And I sometimes hate remixes (but only of videogame music)
