How many people here collect NES games with any semblance of dedication? I've been looking at quite a few CIB games lately, but only the titles I really like. The NES simply isn't a system I have any desire to collect for.

I buy some of the new Homebrews. (Battle Kid) But that's about it.
I'll probably end up with a dozen CIB games and call it quits. It's too expensive for one thing, but the other part of it is that NES games are so old that the most note-worthy titles are readily available in other forms, making it hard to justify a $30-$80 purchase. Take Mario 3, for example.
Strange, I just got a message saying thanks for posting and a mod was gonna check my post before it would become available when I posted in the Six Word story thread.
Gremlins in the machine.
Somebody spray painted Hammer Time on a stop sign just down the road from my house. I always get a kick out of it when I pass it.
Jackal, did you play through the Shadow of the Beast games recently? I've been watching playthroughs on YouTube and, I gotta say, I really don't like those games. The first game had great graphics and I loved the surreal art design, but the gameplay looked very poor. I really hated how there would be stretches of nothing punctuated by sudden waves of enemies. It just seems like really lazy enemy placement.
The second game retained the gameplay but nixed the only thing I liked about the first game. Stupid.
I'm watching the third game now, but it looks like it hews a little closer to the first game than the second. That's a plus, I suppose.
