Its not a port that I would recommend, but Its not as bad as I thought it was gonna be. It suffers some of the same limitations as the 32X version; like crab-walking enemies, missing frames of animation, simplified level geometry, etc. But the Music sounds better and there are noticeably more stages in the SNES version.
I just found the Activision anthology at my thrift store for peanuts. I just tried it and was amused to hear the rock'n 80's soundtrack in the background while playing Atari games. Nice touch.
@Iron Lizard: If you come across Atari Anthology, I'd grab it, it's a pretty good collection. Tons of extras, decent emulation and some good games on there.
Well, there's like a million Activision Anthologies. What system are you guys talking about?
Personally, PS2. Millions? I thought there was only the one "Activision" Anthology (Atari Anthology is an altogether different collection btw)? I know there was a port of it on the GBA, but other than that, the only one I can think of is the PS2/XB/PC effort.
Anyone here use VeeHD?
THOSE MUSIC CHOICES!
I just noticed, villahed94 hasn't posted in almost 10 days, however he was online a little while ago. What makes people stop posting?
