Damn, that zeppelin stage looks great. I loved the steampunk aspect of Bloodlines, I wish they'd put more of that in the series.
What Gecko said. I wish someone hacked it into the full game though, and touched up the palette while they're at it.
I´ve found a guy, who said he buyed the proto years ago @ ebay:

Maybe "Simon_Belmont" dumps it someday or uploads a video @ youtoube.
What do you mean, "steampunk aspect"? That game is set in the early 1900s and that blimp was likely in the German level according to the symbol on it.Quote:

It was set in the early 20th century at the end of the Victorian era, and a lot of things were obviously romantized like all those cogs in the munitions factory. That's steampunk enough for me.
Has anyone a pic of the AU version of Castlevania Bloodlines? Apparently they thought the European (read: German) censored version was lame, so they went with the US version instead.
^^I've seen both versions on the shelvs in equal quantities ("Bloddlines" and "A New Beginning" or whatever the censored version is called). The Bloodlines artwork if a full-case affair, no Megadrive/Genesis sidebar, but the censored one has a MD sidebar, from memory. You should look it up though because I'm probably wrong.
I remember that Zepplin screen from a gaming mag back in the day.
And I was under the impression that this game took place around 1918, the first to be set in a "modern" era.
I'm still don't know how the games set in the future work. I'm pretty confident that vampires vs. stuff like anti-matter weapons or plasma guns is really a one sided battle.
I've tried to, but I haven't found anything. :(Quote:

Looks like the .5 beta with the Zeppelin and steelworks level had finally been dumped

Is there a possibility that someone will add those levels back to a rom hack of the original Bloodlines?
I make a video showing some cool details and comparisons
