New family guy is generally better than the "classic" episodes. Personally, I'd prefer they left Stewie more sexually ambiguous than outright gay, but the Brian/Stewie episodes are fantastic (as everyone has said).

Peter's still funny (when combined with any character). Chris is alright, and Lois & Meg are only good for being the "straight man" to Peter, Quagmire, or Chris.

That being said, I have to say that the humor in the latest episodes is very hit-or-miss.
