Does anybody know why the 68000 has 8-bit instructions if the top 8-bits of each 16-bit word isn't used, and the opcodes take the same amount of cycles?
943
What?
944
Donīt worry, he doesnīt know what heīs talking about himself.:D
945 for the win!

The following is what I got bundled with an ISO in a torrent. The following is labeled "important and fun info":
Did you know that Global Warming is in fact not caused by humans -- at all..?
And did you know that explosives were planeted inside the World Trade Center..?
How much do you know about religion, and modern political history..?

Here are Google links, to three very shocking documentaries:

The documentaries can be downloaded on The Pirate Bay as well...
Please consider watching at least ONE of them. You won't regret it.

I always knew that advanced society of giant squid was behind global warming!

Okay you think your so smart. Answer this: if you have a cartridge-based system, and the cpu can copy the data from the cartridge to the RAM with a speed of 64 kilobytes per second, and there is 128 kilobytes of RAM, how long would the load time be?
I'll give you a hint: it's less than 2 seconds
950
No, I donīt think Iīm so smart; but I hate reading technical babbling from someone who pretends to know about it eventhough he is so lame he often proves not to know even essential things, asking the most stupid questions in the world.
I donīt know about MD-coding, but neither do you; so please stop pretending you do. That is annoying.
951
Great, he's going to prove that explosives were planted by information he's found on the internet.
The video's good for a small chuckle, though.
/edit: Oh, the global warming video I couldn't watch, it wasn't available. But yeah, most greenhouse gasses are produced by cattle. FUN FACT: There wouldn't be such large concentrations of cattle if it weren't for humans? So who's responsible?
952
you know, here, in Estonia, goverment wanted to create a farting tax for caddle :P
955
108 stars, you have to get your sarcasm detector fix. Everytime I'm being sarcastic, you think I actually mean it.
956
Yes they do. Go and play Deer Hunter on MD, with loading times of 30 seconds.
About my sarcasm detector...not so sure, if you are being sarcastic you sure make it hard to tell. I have fewer problems with othersī sarcasm.
And thx for calling me 108, not 101 again.^^
957
Your question was flawed, you didn't state how much data was to be transferred. And you said yourself this imaginary system did 64k a second, thats not zero is it. And cartridge systems do have load times, might not usually be long enough to be noticeable, but they are there.
958
If I said how much was it transferring it would give away the answer:
if you have a cartridge-based system, and the cpu can copy the data from the cartridge to the RAM with a speed of 64 kilobytes per second, and there is 128 kilobytes of RAM, if your transfering 0 bytes, how long would the load time be?
959
I shall answer your question with a question:
Do you like elephants? do you like trains?
960
The very fact that you said cartridge based systems had no loading time proves once again you have no idea what you are talking about.
I get the feeling that you visit some developer board once in a while, copy some comments from there and post them here randomly, with no background knowledge at all.
