Yes it is. Currently I'm looking for a complete copy of Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land for the GBA. I heard it was remake of Kirby's Adventure.Quote:

I bought an NES with 3 games for $30. Came with a controller, zapper, Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt, Rad Racer, and Iron Sword. It's missing the screws that keep the cover on and the 72-pin connector seems a little unreliable (though that's a common problem), but that can be fixed so I'm quite satisfied.
The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX, GBC, cart w/ plastic case ... $7
It was a fairly crooked pawn shop. I asked the clerk how much the game was, and he said 5 bucks. I go to pay with debit, and I see that he has entered the price as $7.00. I respond with a WTF, and he claims it's the "taxes." It's such a pitiful attempt at trying to fleece me for a couple of dollars as punishment for paying with a system that creates a paper trail, but 7 simoleons is still a decent price for the game and I didn't feel like making a fuss with this scummy bastard. The transaction processes, and I see the clerk pocket my debit card. Again, WTF. I ask the dude for my card, and he acts dumbfounded and apologetic as if to say, "Oh jeez, how'd that get there!" Bloody pawnshops.
Thats rediculous. Reminds me of a sticker I have that reads: shoplifters, beware of the crooks that run this store

So I did my roughly monthly visit to the old games shop.

Snake Rattle'n Roll

Super Mario 2
Zelda 2
Genesis:
Strider (cart only)
Earthworm Jim (box, no manual)
Gameboy Color:
Zelda Oracle of Ages (w/ manual)
Unfortunately this all cost around $90 total, but I feel better paying slightly inflated prices at a local location than getting something cheaper online, waiting 2 weeks until it arrives, finding out it doesn't work, and then either having to pay shipping to send it back, or discovering that the seller doesn't do returns. Too much time and luck involved.
I'm happy with this haul, but sad at the same time though: They had Contra but wanted $25 for it! And they had Gunstar Heroes but it was cart only (and for such an awesome game I really don't want to get it like that), AND the cart was in really REALLY bad shape!
Only Earthworm Jim, Zelda 2, and Zoda's Revenge have actually worked as of writing. The rest are drying out from cleaning.
Part of my seemingly endless birthday haul, (only 24 days late :)) but worth the wait I received a CycloDS flash cart, kicks some serious ass.
Bonk 2 arrived in the mail today for pc engine
Aero the Acrobat 2 - Sega Genesis - Rarity 7 - complete/mint/new/unopened/factory-sealed - from forum member Dazz for $25.
