I found this box of goodies at an indoor flea market that opened very nearby. Now, most of their game stuff was overpriced- $40 Dreamcast, $30 PS1, $30 Genesis 2, etc... but this was $5 for a round button Saturn, 3 games, 4 controllers and a stack of manuals with power cord. Just missing the TV cable...
But since I already have an oval button Saturn, it was worth buying this. Even if it didn't work, the 4 controllers and games would be worth $5.
It's in working condition. I tested promptly upon getting it home. Seeing as it's a round button, I should open and check the ribbon cable. Hopefully, iy's of the right type that I can get a modchip for.
^^ Curse you, I wish I could find a Saturn so cheaply.
Nothing major here, Dune and Mutant League Hockey CIB for 5 bucks a piece.
It's a 21-pin cable type, v 0014 New

I can definitely modchip. I'll probably keep both Saturns, my oval button to play legit copies, round modded for burned. Now, would be nice if I could find a reliable modchip source in the USA at a cheaper price than he wants...
After my good buddy's 20th birthday (the Sega Genesis, of course), I decided to go out and buy a couple of Retro games today. I rummaged through garage sales, Flea markets, Current electronics stores, Toys R Us, but obviously none would yield the belated present I was to give my affectionate friend. That is, of course, none but Goodwill. In case you're wondering if one can still find a "Good" deal at Goodwill, well, here's my find of the day/week/month:
Nine (9) Mint CIB genesis titles; Priced at $2.00 each.

P.S.> Just to keep this thread current, mind you, this purchase was made TODAY (8-16-2009) at a local (Miami, FL) Goodwill store.
Well . . . what are the games?
Oh, are there supposed to be pictures? Technical difficulties or "user error?"
;)
That's strange. I can't see them in the post either, but when I quote you, I can still see the links.

And yet, when I follow these links, they take me to nothing. What do you think the cause of this is? And yet you both can see them? Craziness!
I managed to find my second Saturn loose for $8, then bought a power strip for $2, and got the a/v cable for some games. My first Saturn ran me $35 though :S. I shamefully say it wasn't worth it for the US library, thankfully the JP library is great. Maybe my thoughts will change when I get NiGHTS.
Well, at least you got to see them.:D
