I thought it was a pretty good deal myself but I was a bit dissappointed that the guncon was missing. I'm probably going to hold out for a black jp guncon if I can find one cheap.
At the same store there was also a copy of time crisis project titan, time crisis 2 and the big box version of time crisis 3 for ps2 that had a guncon 2 packed with it but I didn't pick those up, maybe next time since I've been very into light gun arcade shooters lately.
speaking of light gun shooters though, I did see a complete long box copy of virtua cop 2 for sega saturn for $10 that I might go back and pick up tomorrow.
I'm thinking of getting in to PS1 collecting and I'd go for gun games but I'm really looking at keeping it on the cheap and I dunno if I need more gun games haha.
I guess if you buy a used console there you get 10% off all games for it for life. There Saturn selection is not the biggest, but they have some decent titles. I'm thinking about going back there today and getting Virtual On. Off the top of my head, they also had Galactic Attack, In the Hunt, Clockwork Knight, and Shinobi. And the store is in Albany, so they're bound to get games more often then they would in my hometown.
A store close to me has a decent selection of games for various SEGA systems. I bought Mr. bones CIB for $14, gungriffon CIB for $6, tomb raider CIB for $5, and virtua fighter kids CIB for $2 there :) they also have tons of dreamcast games. They usually have more sega CD games than Saturn games though. I think they Sega CD was really popular in my area (Kentucky, Louisville/Lexington area) because I see a lot of sega cd games in the wild. I also see lunar silver star complete box set for Playstation at game stores here all the time. One place had like 5 CIB sets. I guess it sold really well around these parts, too.
I went back to the game shop today and bought a couple more Saturn games.
I picked up Slam and Jam 96 because youtube videos made it look fun and my room mate likes basketball games and it was $1.99.
I mainly went there to get Virual On, which they had but I didn't notice yesterday that it didn't actually have the manual, just the cover that was ripped off. I was disappointed, but I wasn't going to not buy it after going there. I figure I can always buy a complete japanese copy once I get a PAR cart. What's weird is that the disk says netlink addition and not for resale, but it came in a longbox. It cost me 14 bones. Whatever, I've always wanted the game.
today I picked up a slim playstation 2 system for $25, I thought it was a decent deal.
Got these this past week - Gley Lancer was $160 delivered! Also bought 2 official Sega 6-button wireless controllers and receiver for $36 delivered from the US to Aus which should arrive later this week.

That HD Genesis I mentioned had an extra peice on it. I researched it yesterday, turns out to be a 32X Bus Terminator.
I ordered a PAR cart from play asia today. I probably won't buy any imports until after christmas when I have more spending money. A new one cost a lot less from play asia than a used one cost on amazon, so I saved a bit o cash.

Got my Famicom AV modded by ApolloBoy, who did a great job, by the way. Now I can hear the drums in Akumajo Densetsu, unlike my AV Famicom where it was overpowered by the melody.
